Scooby-Doo! Mask of the Blue Falcon Coming February 26th!
Warner Bros. has announced a February 26th release date for Scooby-Doo! Mask of the Blue Falcon. The movie will be released on DVD and a Blu-Ray/DVD/UltraViolet Combo Pack, and will have a early VOD release starting on December 13th. Get set for superhero hi-jinks and adventure in Scooby-Doo! Mask of the Blue Falcon as Scooby-Doo! and the gang go head-to-head with a super villain they thought only existed on TV! Scooby-Doo! and his pals make big plans to attend a popular comic book convention. No one however, is more excited than Scooby-Doo! and Shaggy because they get to be part of a big premiere of a brand-new movie that’s based on their favorite superhero, Blue Falcon. Fiction becomes reality however when the hideous Mr. Hyde, a monstrous super villain from the classic Blue Falcon television series comes to life and terrorizes everyone at the convention.

UGH When is this show coming back??!
I'm so annoyed with Cartoon Network for sidelining this show. It's actually phenomenal. It is a little dark but that just gives it a different audience. Their treatment of Scooby and the DC Nation block are actually pissing me off

Allegedly the ratings for SD:MI are low that's why there won't be a season 3.
Well no wonder the ratings suck, they either take it completely off the air for a year (killing its chances of building an audience) or they replay they same episodes over and over and over until people stop watching.

A problem with a character on the cover of the young justice tie-in comic(which I believe was cancelled, I believe. Not a good sign).
A character they were planning to use on the show.
But much like SD:MI, nobody really knows if that's true either. So yes, CN is very infuriating.
It said on the Tumblr that the rest of the episodes were not finished yet. Don't know if that's true.
I have no trouble believing the ratings are bad. After all CN decided to put it in the 2PM slot. And that works fine if your a comedy or something educational, but SDMI is too dark for such an early timeslot.
And of course they haven't finished making the rest of the season. The entire reason you only air one episode a week is to make time to finish everything. Instead CN burns off a dozen episodes in one sitting.

2 pm is also a very early time for most people. I'm not home from work at that time, and not even most high schoolers are back by then. Here the earliest school that lets out is 2:30.
Well, about the remaining episodes of Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated, I actually have news about them. According to Tony Cervone himself, the remaining episodes are finished, and he has said that the last three episodes are going to be the equivalent to an A-Bomb in the Scooby-Doo universe. Those are good news, because now we know that the series will be finished.

^ I was going to post something similar to that. Also WNSD is the kind of program you would at that time not a show like SDMI, it's a way too dark to air that early, especially for new eps. But what you going to do? You air enough eps then they're inevitably going to air at all hours of the day because they're just going to think "Scooby-Doo - a kids show."

I'm fine with this team-up film, but I think it may have been a little more interesting if they made Shaggy and Scooby-Doo's favourite childhood comic book "role models" Commander Cool and Mellow Mutt come to life, not only a tip of the hat (I'm I using that right?), but also to really make something of those latter two and flesh out their non-existent personas; we only saw a pastiche of who they were when Shaggy and Scooby would take on the roles themselves. Oh, the possibilities...

^ #3 was the beginning (at least in terms of DTVs) of the WNSD era and #4 was the end. It's never really been the same since.
Yeah, as much as I like the newer movies, they just don't compare with those WNSD era DTVs that pretty much made my childhood what it was.

CALLING ALL GREEK SCOOBY FANS!
Audio Visual has stopped releasing Scooby DVDs, from now on Village will do, that is until after February. That means we still have a little chance of getting "Scooby Doo! Mask of the Blue Falcon" on DVD in Greek, as it comes out in the USA on 26th of February. And I have a suspision that the voices of the gang will change...

Well, actually I went to a DVD shop in Athens called "Reload" and we asked whether Audio Visual will be realising any new SD DVDs, and they told as so.

No. supposedly the first episode or season2 part2 airs monday. don't know if that's true or not.
