  1. Albert Einstein was a physicist in the early 20th century who came up with the laws of relativity that have become an accepted part of physics in the 20th century. The -stein in Einstein means stone in German and Yiddish. In his later years, Einstein lived in America because he was Jewish and Jews were being persecuted in Germany. He never supported quantum mechanics because it was uncertain. He said, "G-d does not throw dice."
