Alredy saw it, and I must say I thinkit was on of those eisode that not only gave us to know a little more about the mystery and about the teams that came before Scooby and the gang, but it was also an episode where I think issues have been solved (maily Fred an his fake-dad, ex-Mayor Jones).
I really loved the Freak's design in this one.
WOW! Incredible episode!!!
It confirmed part of my theory, that Nibiru could manipulate people. I suspect Nibiru's curse is what makes some people turn to crime and pretend to be supernatural creatures. It's all to lead the new team of mystery solvers to release Nibiru.
An all together interesting episode. I guess this explains the various real ghosts we've seen. My theory is that part as Nabiru gets closer that place between dimensions gets smaller and allows the good part of them to come into contact with the dimensions. So theoretically the remaining alive "good part" of those who are dead might be able to reach into the world from time to time.
This would also explain the increasingly changed attitudes of Cassidy and Mayor Jones (After all in the first season they seemed content to lie and manipulate, but now they've become increasingly good). Although it wouldn't explain why the other members of the original mystery inc are still bad (Perhaps it depends on how much they embraced the entity, perhaps their goodness isn't strong enough to reach beyond the curtain).
Curiously I didn't see Pericles there. Perhaps this means there is no good part of him. Or perhaps there's more to him than we thought. We know that the interdimensional beings inhabit animals, perhaps Pericles is only the latest host of the entity's minion. Perhaps this minion has been jumping into each groups animal mascot but failed to do so with Scooby.
Well these are my theories for now. Only a few episodes to go. I couldn't be more excited.
I wonder why Ricky Owens was there in teenage form when the others of that gang were there in adult form.
That is interesting about Ricky. Perhaps the appearance of the good side is dependent on the point in time that they lost their goodness to the entity.
@The 13th Ghost: It did say that one room was where the best parts of people remained, so I assume Ricky's younger self is his best part of him.
