Good news everyone. Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated will finally return with new episodes on May 3rd! The show will be moving to Tuesday nights at 7:30PM.

Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and their talking dog Scooby-Doo are back, solving mysteries in the spooky town of Crystal Cove, a sleepy coastal village that boasts a long history of ghostly sightings, werewolves and glowing deep sea divers. Because of all the mystery, Crystal Cove has become a tourist hotspot, taking in major profits, and the people of Crystal Cove don’t appreciate the meddling of the renowned sleuthing team.

In Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, the curious gang investigates every circumstance with a questioning mindset. Ghosts and monsters may exist, but extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof, and the gang will stop at nothing to learn the truth of Crystal Cove.Plus, the drama won’t be limited to paranormal activities — the gang will be portrayed as real teens with real problems, dealing with situations that arise in their families and personal relationships within the group.

From Warner Bros. Animation, Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated features the voices of Frank Welker (What’s New, Scooby-Doo?) as Fred/Scooby-Doo, Mindy Cohn (The Facts of Life) as Velma, Grey DeLisle (Batman: The Brave and the Bold) as Daphne and Matthew Lillard (the Scooby-Doo films) as Shaggy. Sam Register (Teen Titans, Ben 10, Batman: The Brave and the Bold) is the executive producer. Spike Brandt and Tony Cervone (both Duck Dodgers, Back at the Barnyard, Space Jam) are the supervising producers.

Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated returns with new episodes Tuesday, May 3, 7:30 p.m. ET/ PT on Cartoon Network.

  1. An over six month wait is ridicules, but at least we finally have a return date. 😉

  2. Let's hope the rumor is true this time. May 3rd eh? Better than the date I predicted, which was in July.

"Plus, the drama won’t be limited to paranormal activities — the gang will be portrayed as real teens with real problems..."

    Ugh. -_-

I don't even think real teens have the problems they come up with for this show.

"...dealing with situations that arise in their families and personal relationships within the group."

Too bad. But I was prepared for this. In any case, TvTropes has stated that the season 2 episodes have already aired elsewhere. My guess is Britain. From what I've read about the next three episodes so far (15, 16, and 17), this season is going to suck too.

Here's hoping for the best though. Believe it!

  3. I highly doubt that season 2 has started airing elsewhere.

I don't think They could have more then 5 or 6 eps done yet.

  4. No it did air elsewhere. I thought it was Britain, but someone else confirmed it could be Canada. In any case, TvTropes has some facts posted from episodes 15, 16, and 17, so yes they did air somewhere else first and the second season is complete.

  5. I know they've aired in Canada already, but what I'm saying is the first season is not complete yet. Both season 1 and season 2 have 26 episodes. Only 13 episodes have aired in the US so far, and it looks like Canada has only aired through episode 18 or so.

Plus I doubt they're anywhere near finshed working on Season 2 yet.

  6. What? No, a season only has 13 episodes. 14 at most. Episodes 14 through 26 ARE season 2. Look at any other Scooby-Doo season (aside from The New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show or The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries where most episodes were cut into two 11 minute episodes).

Not long ago there was an interview with one of the guys who is currently choking the life out of the Scooby-Doo series. He said that CN signed for a second season of Misery Stink. Stations don't sign for HALF a season. They sign for one at a time or none, and if they don't sign for another then it's considered cancelled.

Besides, one season doesn't take almost a year to produce (not anymore anyway).

But CN will probably freeze Mistery Stink right in the middle of season 2 just like they did last time with season 1.

  7. Um, what? Batman: Brave and the Bold? Star Wars: The Clone Wars? Both these shows have more than 13 episodes a season. Heck, even the first season of Scooby-Doo! Where Are You had 17 episodes{season 2 had 8}. The showrunners confirmed last July that the first season IS 26 episodes{don't believe me, just look up the Comic Con panel on Youtube}. The "Season 2" pickup is for the next 26 episodes, meaning there will be a total of 52 episodes.

And no, they don't take more than a year to produce anymore, but it can still take a lot of time. It's much too early for Season 2 to air. Surely by now, they'd only have a handful of Season 2 episodes done.

  8. Nobody better tell cbs that shows get picked up one season at a time, as they ordered two seasons of "how I meet your mother" a few months back.
And "big bang theory" a even further back.

  9. I was always a fan of the original scooby doo where are you, like the rest of them have stupid monsters that are colorful and wacky and stupid. Mystery Incorporated did pretty alright, like the promgirl, that was cool. However they should stop talking about velma and shaggy and stuff and just get back to the show, SCOOB BEFORE BOOBS.
