Question of the Week 7/17/2012
This week’s question is all about Laff-A-Lympics. Now that Spooky Games is out on DVD, what did you think of the new episode? And do you think it’s a good idea to make brand new episodes specifically for these DVD releases?

I can't say anything cause I don't have the DVD. My mum said they 'd translate it in Greek for sure because it's connected to the Olympic Games. Cartoon Network said they will air this episode, so I hope someone posts it on YouTube.
Scoob16, are you sure for it? I mean, audiovisual hasn't announced anything yet and I think there are only a few possibilities for this DVD to come in Greece...

The new episode "Spooky Games" is GREAT!!! I only wish that ALL the remaining episodes of Scooby’s All-Star Laff-A-Lympics were on the set. Hopefully the remaining 8 will be released soon.
I really enjoyed the new episode, I wish it has been longer though, maybe like a feature length episode,

And I think it's a fabulous idea to have new episodes added to these releases. I wouldn't have purchased this DVD set if it didn't have something new on it (Laff-A-Lympics is a pretty boring show, IMO).
Also, new cartoons can help give an extra incentive for people (mainly parents) to buy DVD releases of older and/or obscure stuff like Laff-A-Lympics.

That's why the DVD cover was more towards the special than just the regular episodes.
I like the special more than the Big Top movie and the two before that. This is the type of Scooby-Doo I miss and wish it would go back to. I also have problems with the gang having romantic interests. On the hand it gives them realism that they're not just boring individuals (Daphne, Fred and Velma) who liked nothing, but solving mysteries and sometimes partying at the beach on the side like they did in the original era(s), while on the other hand it's pointless and stupid because you know it's not going to go anywhere and if it does you definitely aren't going to see go anywhere anyway.
I liked spooky games a whole lot better then phantosaur or music of the vampire.
Since it was made specifically for dvd I wish it would have been just a bit longer, they could edit down for tv. Most half hour shows these days feel rushed to me.
I think its a brilliant idea to make episodes for dvd, I wouldn't have bought it if not for spooky games so it gives a great incentive to buy.
