Hmm, hard question... I guess Mask of the Blue Falcon, or Stage Fright. The former presented a braver side of Scooby and Shaggy, while the latter had an interesting twist (and no, I don't mean the Daphne and Fred thingy! LOL!). The number of villains was totally unpredictable, and the opening song was cool. I really liked the good old DTVs as well, Zombie Island, Witch's Ghost etc. They had interesting plots involving real monsters and ghosts, as well as successful soundtracks. Samurai Sword was good, along with Goblin King and Pirates Ahoy. I fancy the SDWAY revived music scores through Legend of the Vampire and Monster of Mexico, the plot and action of the Loch Ness Monster, Legend of the Phantosaur,Big Top and Chill Out, the horrifying scenes of Camp Scare and Where's My Mummy, as well as the shining atmosphere of Aloha. Abracadabra-Doo had enjoyable soundtrack and action, and Music of the Vampire was a successful SD musical, although many people disliked it.
I like the current series of DTV's most.
Abracadabra Doo introduced a very enjoyable character who really should become a semi regular. Camp Scare was funny. Legend of the Phantosaur reminded us that Shaggy is quite competent when he wants to be. Music of the Vampire was hilarious. Big Top Scooby Doo had a great mystery. Mask of the Blue Falcon was awesome despite the fact that it disregards the fact that Scooby and the gang have met the real Falcon and helped him fight three separate villains. Stage Fright was full of great twists in the plot as well as the Fred/Daphne subplot. I just wish they'd do one with a Shaggy/Velma subplot. Fred and Daphne are too codependent on each other. Shaggy and Velma seem to have a healthier relationship.
I too enjoy the current series of DTV's the most. In fact I really wish we had a show right now that's similar in style and tone (Perhaps an hour long format).
Personally I really like Big Top right now, great opening song and good humor. Stage Fright does come close to beating it though, who can beat that ending after all.
I like them all, however I would have to say Mask of the Blue Falcon and Loch Ness Monster because of the hilarity of them both. I love the "danger prone Daphne" reference in Loch Ness and I also love when Scooby crash lands the Mystery Machine on the boat the exchange between him and Fred. I love Mask of the Blue Falcon because of all the HB references and its humor, especially when Scooby and Shaggy get slimed and he thinks they're turning into monsters and he calls the mayor hideous.
My favorite lines from the movies supernova mentioned are:
FRED: Somebody get that guy's (Shaggy) licence!
SCOOBY: Doggy licence!
and:
MR. GARRISON (after going insane about the new movie): Hi there, kids, want an autograph?
SCOOBY: Uh.. no thanks.
MR. GARRISON: What?
SHAGGY: Don't mind him, Mr. Garrison, we still want your autogragh, but like... (pushes Scooby and Austin away) we'll come back later when you're feeling better. (after they get away) Just walk away from the crazy man, and smile! (turns back and waves)
