they did not update to HD digital in the US either. I think it was a marketing error on WB's part, and that they just meant it was going to be released on digital. The show is very old, I can't imagine that there is an "hd" version of it.
Age actually doesn't matter, it's all about the source material. So long as they have the original film negative they can make an HD version of it. And based on the fact that 13 ghosts was able to be done in HD I'd say all the Scooby shows that came before it could have HD releases if WB wanted to. It's not always cost effective to do so, especially if the show in question isn't that profitable (And being Scrappy era definitely makes this a risky title, so I'm not terribly surprised WB cheaped out on us).
I'm hoping that they release an HD version of SDWAY soon, probably around the time they release the next theatrical movie.
Nope, I already have it digitally.
Yes, I have it preordered with two day shipping.
I'm not keen on the front cover, so no. I'll get it digitally at some point, though.
I'll probably pick up my copy later this week.
Comes in Greece next month and buying for sure.
iTunes didn't update it to HD, so I guess it wasn't released on DVD in the UK.
