Update: Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! Season 1, Part 1, Coming In February
MSN posted a new trailer yesterday for Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! Season 1, Part 1. While there is no release date yet, it’s safe to assume this DVD will feature the first half of Season 1. Stay tuned for more details.
Update: Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! Season 1, Part 1 will be released on February 16, 2016 and indeed contain the first thirteen episodes. You can pre-order now at Amazon.
Be Cool Scooby-Doo! is an all-new 22-minute animated comedy series from Warner Bros. Animation. The Scooby gang is back with a modern comedic twist on the beloved classic. With high school over and one last summer to live it up, the gang hits the road in the Mystery Machine, chasing fun and adventure. But monsters and mayhem keep getting in the way.
I wonder how long it will be before they create a new song, as much as I love the WNSD theme song I've heard it too many times now. Too bad they didn't create a good replacement theme song for the franchise with BCSD.
I am excited this is coming out on DVD. However I'm less excited about it being in parts. I see other CN shows released in entire seasons on Blu ray but never for Scooby Doo. It would be great if WB could put even a little effort into these releases.
They couldn't even use the show's OWN theme song. They went with the What's New, Scooby-Doo? cover theme song. Yeah, I get it, it's so super exciting.
I've got news to report!
Along with the Christmas special, Wikipedia has listed two new episodes!
As real as those episodes are, I doubt they mention that TV Guide removed one of them from their own website. Meaning they haven't all been approved.
the lego special airs in the US tomorrow.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Meadowlark Lemon who appeared in three episodes of Scooby-Doo is dead.
If you want to get technical, it wasn't actually him. But, that is sad to hear.
