  1. Episode 23 Haunting in Crystal Cove, another great episode! I can't wait for the next one!

  2. Oh yeah, what a great episode.

As I've said before, if this show keeps going the same route that it has it will surpass all other series in my eyes.

  3. This episode looks pretty darn good; and it's exactly what I think Scooby should be like. The comedic and humor stuff, but yet scary and with a good dose of horror mixed in as well.

  4. It is very good, and I think you'll like it if you like the creepy/horror type episodes.
Lots of new ingredients added to the pot of the overarcing mystery.

  5. Yes that was a great episode (And I'm pleased that my theories are pretty accurate to this point). The one thing I did notice though is that Daphne was off model a lot of the time, her proportions kept changing (At one point she becomes almost a stick figure).

  6. It was episode 23. As I said it was a great episode but it had some funky animation glitches going on, even the framing of some shots wasn't consistent with other episodes. It makes me think someone else directed this episode, or at least there were different animators involved.

  7. Hmm, I didn't notice that, but I did watch it on a small screen, about 2 inches, so that may be why I missed it.
I'll have to look for that when it airs, it does bug me when the characters are off model, see upcoming comic reviews for further proof.

  8. Well here's a good example of what I mean:

It just baffles me, usually the animation for this show is pretty flawless, this is the first time I've seen them make such an error.

  9. Actually this show had an animation error in the first 15 seconds of the series, and it was regarding Daphne.

The animation and character designs are crap. In my opinion of course.

The artwork of the backgrounds and such are great though.

  10. you serious believe it? i think the character designs are awesome! and the animation rocks! I think I just love the show cos it's so real 😀

  11. So real? The H-B designs look more realistic than these angular monstrosities.

Again, the artwork itself is nice and realistic, that is the backgrounds and such.

Anyway, episode 23 was a steaming pile. Contradictions, bad plot elements, EVIL practices, Velma lying about Shaggy, obnoxious Frephne for no reason, stupid mystery, and the thing with Fred's mom doesn't belong in SD.

Saying you lost your mom to something is one thing, but saying she walked out. That's not something that should be in a cartoon that kids watch. I'm sure there's another reason behind it, but Fred thinks she walked out on them. So there's that.

No Mr. E/Crystal Cove Mystery plot development. More toilet "jokes". More of the characters acting stupid.

  12. Oh and don't forget the Miss Cleo ripoff.

Why does WB steal stuff from everywhere else?

  13. Believe It, why do you even watch the show if you hate it so much? And why do you post on here if you're just complaining about the show? Just shut up.

  14. I concur. I've asked you before and I'll ask you again, why do you watch it if it is so horrible?

  15. Hey man, did you know that Canada's equivalent to Cartoon Network, Teletoon, has already aired all the episodes up to 23? A new one comes out every Monday. Check out this website to see them.

  16. Yes scoobylover we knew that. Thanks though.

I watch it because this version is carrying itself as a legitimate installment of the franchise (unlike Get a Clue). Also, this version has things in it that are not suitable for younger viewers. Among other things, sexual situations, mocking parents and adults, and now Satanic elements.

By catching this and exposing it, awareness might be raised to this problem. If enough people hate the show, WB will either cancel it (as they should) or FIX it to be BETTER.

And often times I find that people who hate something are unwilling to voice their concerns if everyone else is gushing about how much they love it (even if they don't give reasons as to why they love it).

The question is, why aren't you people on my side? Aren't you Scooby-Doo fans?

  17. Yes we are scooby fans, that's why we love this show! It is the very first serious take on the characters. That is why I love it.
For once its not being treated as a kid show, which it isn't! Its a family show!
And you say people who don't like thing that most do don't say anything? Well here you go: I think the dark knight sucked! Nolan took the funny joker and turned him into the purple riddler.

  18. And just because YOU don't like it doesn't mean it needs to be canceled.

  19. @Believe it, I concur with everybody else but you; if you don't want to watch the show, or don't like it, don't watch it. It's as simple as that.

By the way, if you've seen the interviews done with the producers, you would see that this is the way they wanted to do Scooby originally.

So would you rather have had Where Are You like this, or the current series like this. What i'm trying to say is, it's not perfect and its not going to please everybody, but its the best series in a while, both in plot and spirit.

Would you rather we go back to the Get A Clue era? Or would you like more of the 1980-1981 Scooby and Scrappy episodes that were just dumb, and weren't scary or had nothing to do with mysteries, or teh supernatural at all.

By the way, I am a Christian and go to church and help out answering the phones at our church's office. I know this has nothing to do with anything, but I just would point this out because while I am a true Scooby Doo fan, I watch this series because it is good, and is well written, etc.

I also mainly watch Scooby Doo because the show is funny and has the right amount of horror to make it appeal to all audiences, young and old. I don't focus on the bad of a series or movie, I just point it out when people ask me about it and then that's it.

Basically I don't dwell on the stuff I don't like, I just don't pay attention to it and watch the show also because its escapism. It's a fun show, it's a cartoon, and the bottom line is IT IS FICTIONAL.

With all the stuff going on in the world and all the stuff going on in my life right now(which I won't get into), I just want a half hour, or hour, or 2 hours of fun and mystery, and I don't want to think about anything too major.

Bottom line, if you don't like the show, don't watch it and watch some of the shows and episodes you do like on DVD, or youtube or whatever.

    Enough said 🙂

  20. @Mysteryincfan1, to be honest I don't think it matters if your black or white or jewish or christian, but I understand your point. And as I've said before, this is all a matter of opinion. But believe it, you seem like a "I think it sucks, who's with me?" type. If you hate it, whatever we get it, but every time, and I want you to read this VERY carefully, somebody says "that was a good episode" you spew the same crap "its sex filled, the adults are dumb, this show sucks, mystery stink..." We get it you don't like it, get over it and move along.

  21. "and the thing with Fred’s mom doesn’t belong in SD."

Hate to break it to you but in real life parents walk out sometimes, you can't be mad that this show is trying to be relatable to that audience. And anyways it's obvious they were setting up a plot point for a future episode, its something you might know as foreshadowing.

"Also, this version has things in it that are not suitable for younger viewers. Among other things, sexual situations, mocking parents and adults, and now Satanic elements."

All shows and movies are given ratings based on their content, if you feel this show has inappropriate content than isn't that the censors faults for mislabeling? Not to mention how much of a hypocrite you are, you believe Shaggy and Daphne were doing it in 13 Ghost and yet every time there's a slight mention of sex in this show you complain (What's even worse is that in your own mind you believe 13 ghost did it tastefully, but in reality it did nothing because its just standard fan character shipping on your part). As for Satanic elements Scooby Doo focuses on the supernatural all the time so really this complaint should be 40 years in the making (Not to mention 13 ghost was Satanic in so many more ways then anything we've seen in this show).

"And often times I find that people who hate something are unwilling to voice their concerns if everyone else is gushing about how much they love it (even if they don’t give reasons as to why they love it)."

Everyone here has posted a complaint at some point, because like everything in life this show is not perfect. The difference is that people generally let the good outweigh the bad which is something you fail to try. Believe it your so concentrated on the bad of this show that you can't enjoy anything about it and really that's just sad. Of course knowing you you'll reply that you've complimented this show before, but your compliments are so disproportionately small in comparison to your massive complaints. Just accept that you can't talk us out of liking a show just because you don't like it.

  22. @believe it, you also say you don't like the "toilet" humor but you say episode 23 is a, and this is a quote of yours, "steaming pile" that sound like a toilet reference to me.

  23. Thank you ScoobyDoom and strangely, at least some people have the same opinions as I do, and don't beleive the crap that some people have to say about a series that really isn't all that bad.

  24. I think the fact that they're actually making the show scary and a little more mature is a great thing! They do admittedly have an occasional gas joke, but hey everyone farts and it's they're pretty rare and actually sometimes funny just with how goofy it is.

I haven't seen anything satanic in the show at all, the Ouija board has been linked to demons if that's what you're referring to...But it makes the show a little creepier/scarier which makes it a lot more interesting! These are characters who are dealing with the "paranormal", the paranormal is scary and should be portrayed as such.

Mystery Incorporated, in my opinion is the Ultimate Scooby cartoon. (Where are you will always be the best though). But MI is legit creepy, legit funny, and has the over-arching mystery and drama and has a lot of homages to the old versions of the franchise and pop culture references!

I've said it before and I'll say it again BelieveIt, I think you're a troll. All of your complaints just seem to be said to get a reaction out of us. I honestly do not understand why you even watch the show, let alone go to fan websites and complain about it. I hate a lot of TV shows, and you know what's weird? I DONT WATCH THEM. And i dont go on the internet and spew hatred over fansites, because i accept that the shows have their own fanbase.

Essentially everyone here enjoys Mystery Inc, excpet for you Believe It, and nobody wants to hear your opinion. You dominate the topics with your trolling, and i'd much rather discuss the story/episodes than fight a flame war.

  25. Scooby-Doom says: "Yes we are scooby fans, that’s why we love this show!"

Does not compute. Let's pretend for a moment that WB turned Scooby-Doo over the Trey Parker and Matt Stone (the creators of South Park) and they remade Scooby-Doo to be rude, raunchy, disgusting, controversial, and all the other things South Park is. Would you be a fan of that version simply because "Scooby-Doo" is in the title?

This is what Misery Stink is. It is nothing like SDWAY, and it has at least a dozen plot elements that just don't belong in Scooby-Doo. It seems to me that people who like this cartoon (which does not resemble Scooby-Doo in any significant way) are nothing but brand loyal "fans". Scooby-Doo is in it, therefore it is good.

Scooby-Doom says: "It is the very first serious take on the characters. That is why I love it."

Okay, this I have to just... hammer. And I hope you repond to this because I want to have a discussion about it.

    1. Scooby-Doo Where Are You was the first series that had a serious take on the characters. In fact it was so serious at first that the network wouldn't air it because they thought it was too scary for kids. So Joe Barbera had them tone it down a bit and add a little more humor.
    2. Misery Stink Corpse-low-rated does not take the characters serious at all. Fred having a trap fetish? You call that serious? Showing Daphne broken out in hives that ooze puss because she at shrimp? You call that serious? Or how about the thing with Frephne? Fred constantly ignores Daphne or leaves her hanging, or drops her... And Daphne keeps trying and trying. Even Frephne fans don't like this, because it's nothing but some kind of running gag.

Then there's Velma. Not only did her intelligence take a dump, but her demeanor as well. She is a snot to Shaggy and Scooby. She tried to CHANGE Shaggy to be something he wasn't. She tried to drive Shaggy and Scooby apart. She suggested leaving Scooby in an animal asylum. You call this a serious take on the characters?

That's just the tip of the iceberg, but I think this should suffice. Please feel free to point out any "serious" points presented about these characters in SDMI.

Scooby-Doom says: "For once its not being treated as a kid show, which it isn’t! Its a family show!"

Well most kids' shows (at least back then) were family shows as well because they were fun for kids to watch and it appealed to adults. This is what SD is supposed to be.

SDMI on the other hand has adult humor (and images) in it, which makes it inappropriate for kids. Also, it has toilet "humor" for kids, which irritates adults. It has teen angst to appeal to teens. Problem is, teens tend NOT to watch cartoons because they think cartoons are for kids. At the same time teen angst irritates adults and kids alike.

So no, SDMI is not a family show nor a kids' show. It seems to be targeted at 21 to 30 with kiddy "humor" dispersed randomly throughout to try and appeal to kids.

Scooby-Doom says: "And you say people who don’t like thing that most do don’t say anything?"

No. I said SOME people tend not to speak up if they don't like something IF they see that everyone else likes it.

Scooby-Doom says: "Well here you go: I think the dark knight sucked! Nolan took the funny joker and turned him into the purple riddler."

Fine. I agree with you that they did not get Joker right, and there were some convoluted scenes in that movie. It was a WB movie after all. They went with the "crazy terrorist" Joker based on the comics rather than the "evil comedian" Joker from the animated series (which is also the one I prefer). I wouldn't say the whole thing sucked, but it wasn't bad. Better than Tim Burton's version.

Scooby-Doom says: "And just because YOU don’t like it doesn’t mean it needs to be canceled."

Never said it was because I didn't like it. Misery Stink should be cancelled because it is an insult to the SD series and it sucks.

Mysteryincfan1 says: "Believe it, I concur with everybody else but you; if you don’t want to watch the show, or don’t like it, don’t watch it. It’s as simple as that."

If it gets much worse I will. In any case, I am NOT watching it on CN. That way CN won't get the ratings for it.

Scooby-Doo should meet a high level of quality. It should make me want to watch the same episode over and over. All of H-B's episodes met that standard (except maybe one or two).

Mysteryincfan1 says: "By the way, if you’ve seen the interviews done with the producers, you would see that this is the way they wanted to do Scooby originally."

They who? What producers? Not Hanna and Barbera, I know that. H-B did it their way from the start. If anything they wanted it to be a bit scarier than it was. They certainly didn't want all this relationship BS messing up the whole series. They didn't want fart jokes in it either. So what producers are you talking about, the WB producers? In that case I can believe it!

Mysteryincfan1 says: "So would you rather have had Where Are You like this, or the current series like this."

Okay, so you're talking about H-B. Uh no Hanna-Barbera did NOT want Scooby-Doo to be anything like what Misery Stink is. I don't know where you got this non-sense from. If you heard this from the Misery Stink producers, then consider the source. They'll do anything to pardon this rancid bowel movement of theirs, including lie on the names of the dead!

Mysteryincfan1 says: "What i’m trying to say is, it’s not perfect and its not going to please everybody, but its the best series in a while, both in plot and spirit."

How is this the best in a while? Lets cut out 13GSD and back. We'll go from a Pup Named Scooby-Doo on foward up to Get a Clue. How is this better than say... What New Scooby-Doo? As corny as that one looked, at least the characters acted as they should have for the most part.

Heck, at least A Pup was somewhat funny. I found it quite fun to laugh at Fred's idiocy in that series. But in THIS one. Not only is he portrayed as idiotic, but also someone to be admired. Worst of all they have Daphne liking him despite his idiodic and inconsiderate personality! So I can't laugh at how stupid he is, AND they lowered my third favorite character (first favorite female character) by making her stupid enough to like him.

In all honesty though, Fred shouldn't be an idiot. He should be a competent guy who plans things out and can analyze clues along with Velma. Still my most hated character though.

Mysteryincfan1 says: "Would you rather we go back to the Get A Clue era?"

Compared to Misery Stink? Yes, actually. Know why? Because as bad as Get a Clue allegedly was, at least it didn't present itself as a serious installment to the franchise. It presented itself as a "what if" and not only did fans treat it that way, but you also somehow knew that all fans saw it that way. There was never any threat of it bringing down the entire franchise, which Misery Stink could actually do!

Mysteryincfan1 says: "Or would you like more of the 1980-1981 Scooby and Scrappy episodes that were just dumb, and weren’t scary or had nothing to do with mysteries, or teh supernatural at all."

Uh what episodes would those be? The episodes that had nothing to do with the supernatural were the originals. The first episodes to have actual monsters and supernatural things were the ones with just Shaggy, Scooby, and Scrappy. Next, those episodes had interesting mysteries. Even the ones where Daphne returns and each episode was split into 11 minute minisodes, those mysteries were far superior to anything Misery Stink has done.

Ever notice how in Misery Stink the mystery explanations are always convoluted and non-sensical? The motives are even worse. This is nothing more than an example of the "writers" making fun of the mystery solving aspect of the series. It's just another big joke to them.

Mysteryincfan1 says: "By the way, I am a Christian and go to church and help out answering the phones at our church’s office."

Great. We'll meet in Heaven some day. So what?

Mysteryincfan1 says: "I know this has nothing to do with anything, but I just would point this out because while I am a true Scooby Doo fan, I watch this series because it is good, and is well written, etc."

    ...

I'm a born again Christian who believes Jesus Christ is the son of God who came to Earth, died on the cross for the sins of the world, was buried and came back to life, and I have asked him into my heart to save me from my sins too, but what does that have to do with any of this?

...Unless you're trying to say that there is something un-Christian about this series. Are you?

I would agree. Putting Daphne in lingerie, a tiny bikini, and a skimpy leather outfit is un-Christian, especially for a show that kids watch. The "jokes" elluding to homosexuality are also un-Christian. The voodoo crap an ouija board in the most recent episode (23) are anti-Christian. Not only that but they are not suitable for SD or for kids.

So of course you should have an attack of conscience over this series.

Mysteryincfan1 says: "I also mainly watch Scooby Doo because the show is funny and has the right amount of horror to make it appeal to all audiences, young and old. I don’t focus on the bad of a series or movie, I just point it out when people ask me about it and then that’s it."

Well that's fine for you, but this series is almost all bad and almost no good. When an episode is good, I praise it. Check the last few topics on here. I praised "Where Walks Aphrodite" and "Attack of the Headless Horror". Good episodes in my opinion. But others are just so awful that they demand my rebukes.

Mysteryincfan1 says: "Basically I don’t dwell on the stuff I don’t like, I just don’t pay attention to it and watch the show also because its escapism."

Okay, well for me I would have to ignore the bulk of almost every episode, and I can't do that. When a storyline doesn't make sense, I hate it. Why? Because I am investing my time into watching it. So when it turns out to be a dud, that means I have wasted my time that I could have used elsewhere to do something better. Worse yet is when the episode mocks one of my favorite franchises of all time, Scooby-Doo.

Mysteryincfan1 says: "It’s a fun show, it’s a cartoon, and the bottom line is IT IS FICTIONAL."

It is SERIOUS BUSINESS! Believe it!

Naw but really, this show is killing the whole franchise. If you really like Scooby-Doo, then why support it's destruction?

Mysteryincfan1 says: "With all the stuff going on in the world and all the stuff going on in my life right now(which I won’t get into), I just want a half hour, or hour, or 2 hours of fun and mystery, and I don’t want to think about anything too major."

Then why not demand a better product? Why not demand, like me, that WB raise it's standards and produce a GOOD Scooby-Doo cartoon that is like the originals?

Mysteryincfan1 says: "Bottom line, if you don’t like the show, don’t watch it and watch some of the shows and episodes you do like on DVD, or youtube or whatever."

Why can't I watch it and then complain about it? If that's what you think I should do then what about you? Why did you reply to my comment? If you don't like it, why did you read it and respond? Same reason I watch and respond. We want to voice our opinions, and there's nothing wrong with that.

    Thanks for replying.

Scooby-Doom says: "And as I’ve said before, this is all a matter of opinion. But believe it, you seem like a “I think it sucks, who’s with me?” type."

I don't care if anyone is with me. In fact I am a part of a different forum where everyone else thinks Misery Stink sucks. I am not out to fit in or be with like minds. I am just stating what I think. I thought we were allowed to do that in this free country of ours.

Notice I also ask others why they like the show.

Scooby-Doom says: "If you hate it, whatever we get it, but every time, and I want you to read this VERY carefully, somebody says “that was a good episode” you spew the same crap “its sex filled, the adults are dumb, this show sucks, mystery stink…” We get it you don’t like it, get over it and move along."

That's not true. I praised episodes 16 and 22. I have also picked good things out of bad episodes and said I liked those specific parts.

I only say "it's sex filled" IF that's the truth. If the episode wasn't that, I don't say it.

And why am I the one who has to move along? Why not any of you? Why can't you not read my posts or not respond to them? Why does this "hold your tongue" thing only apply to me?

strangely says: "Hate to break it to you but in real life parents walk out sometimes, you can’t be mad that this show is trying to be relatable to that audience."

Yes I can. That is a BAD situation. It is one that kids should not be exposed to needlessly.

strangely says: "And anyways it’s obvious they were setting up a plot point for a future episode, its something you might know as foreshadowing."

A bad plot point. Like I said, they will probably say she left to protect them or some such garbage, but the fact still remains that she left Fred when he was a baby. He grew up without a mother. Not only does this contradict the canon, but it adds a foreign plot element to the mix. This kind of serious plotline does not fit Scooby-Doo (in my opinion, since I know everyone gets upset if I don't say that -_-).

strangely says: "All shows and movies are given ratings based on their content, if you feel this show has inappropriate content than isn’t that the censors faults for mislabeling?"

Yes it is partly their fault. In fact I and a lot of others agree that the censors were either smoking crack or in a catatonic state when all this crap flew right past them, but that does not excuse the SOURCE of the crap. The SDMI "writers".

strangely says: "Not to mention how much of a hypocrite you are"

Oh boy, this I gotta read.

"you believe Shaggy and Daphne were doing it in 13 Ghost"

I can not confirm that they were engaged in sexual activites with each other and therefore I cannot conclude or claim that they definately were.

However, according to the facts of the series they did share a bed on various occasions. That does not mean they were engaged in the aformentioned actions, but it does prove that they were at least intimately and romantically involved. THAT was my only definitive claim about the totally canon and totally awesome Shaggy+Daphne relationship.

Although... the fact they lived together does imply that there COULD have been some boots a-knockin'.

I prefer to believe they were saving themselves for marriage, which is what God instructs, and since Shaggy was a Christian I tend to believe that he followed God's word in this matter.

strangely says: "and yet every time there’s a slight mention of sex in this show you complain"

Correct, because unlike 13GSD and Shaphne in gereral, Misery Stink presents the pairings (except Shaphne) in ways that are overt and obvious. 13GSD did not present the Shaggy+Daphne intimacy in a way that was blatant and noticable to children. It was presented in a way that was subtle and discreet. A way that kids would not notice it, but adults would catch on themselves.

This fulfills the mature storyline element of having a romantic relationship in the cartoon AND it does so without distracting from the cartoon's main storyline itself or bombarding the young'ins with adult content.

strangely says: "(What’s even worse is that in your own mind you believe 13 ghost did it tastefully, but in reality it did nothing because its just standard fan character shipping on your part)."

Ha ha, that was a funny theory you had about me. Thanks for sharing. Of course if you'd like proof that Shaggy and Daphne were an official couple at that point in the series' timeline, I would be happy to oblige.

strangely says: "As for Satanic elements Scooby Doo focuses on the supernatural all the time so really this complaint should be 40 years in the making (Not to mention 13 ghost was Satanic in so many more ways then anything we’ve seen in this show)."

Not so. I was not referring to the gang's investigations into mysteries that seemed to revolve around ghosts or monsters, nor do I have a problem with 13GSD where Shaggy, Daphne, Scooby, and Scrappy are world famous ghost chasers who along with Flim Flam and VanGhoul seal evil demonic spirits off from the world thus protecting all life on Earth.

Supernatural ≠ Satanic. And them doing good by defeating evil is not a problem either. The problem here is that they were all participating in a sceance to open themselves up to "spirits". That is very different from investigating anomolies or fighting against evil.

Now I will admit that there was a SDWAY episode where they see the gypsy by the side of the road and they elect to go in to get their fortunes told. This is bad, no doubt about it, and kids should not see that, but observing/believing a fortune teller is not the same as making yourself a part of a ritual to channel spirits from Hell (as that is the only place you can get them from on Earth).

strangely says: "Everyone here has posted a complaint at some point, because like everything in life this show is not perfect."

Oh come off it. "I wish they would go into the Mr. E plot more" is not a complaint. I'm talking about a true critisism.

strangely says: "The difference is that people generally let the good outweigh the bad which is something you fail to try."

It has nothing to do with me. The bad outweighs the good in this show. I merely tell it like it is.

And BTW, that goes for the good episodes too. If the episode is good, I reply in a way that reflects the good of that episode, and then the good does outweigh the bad.

The problem is that most of the episodes in this version are TERRIBLE.

strangely says: "Believe it your so concentrated on the bad of this show that you can’t enjoy anything about it and really that’s just sad."

Yeah it is sad, because when I watch Scooby-Doo I expect to be entertained with high quality jokes, antics, mysteries, and storyline. Not let down with the kind of garbage that Misery Stink vomits forth.

strangely says: "Of course knowing you you’ll reply that you’ve complimented this show before, but your compliments are so disproportionately small in comparison to your massive complaints."

Ah that's your opinion. I doubt you've even read my reviews of approval.

strangely says: "Just accept that you can’t talk us out of liking a show just because you don’t like it."

I never said I could or wanted to.

Scooby-Doom says: "believe it, you also say you don’t like the “toilet” humor but you say episode 23 is a, and this is a quote of yours, “steaming pile” that sound like a toilet reference to me."

Yeah, that's a critisism. That's not the same as a joke, which is intended to provoke one to laughter.

Mysteryincfan1 says: "Thank you ScoobyDoom and strangely, at least some people have the same opinions as I do, and don’t beleive the crap that some people have to say about a series that really isn’t all that bad."

Sure ya do. You just pick and choose which ones you like or don't like. The episodes with Scrappy for example, that you called dumb? Well those episodes saved the franchise from early cancellation. Believe it!

  26. Believe It, you just don't get it. Being Christian has nothing to do with anything on the current Scooby show, or in past Scooby shows.

Bottom line, Scooby is and always has been a cartoon; it is escapist fare, and is something that people from older and younger generations can watch without being overstimulated and thinking about real life.

As for why I keep responding to your posts, I am trying to support the show and trying to talk to real Scooby fans who support the show no matter what.

You on the other hand(and I don't want to name call) are just bad mouthing the current show because you don't like it, and you want it canceled. This is no reason to be spreading what you think and beleive about the show at all.

Yes, you are trying to post your opinions on the show and franchise, however, everything you posted about the show, and calling it Mystery Stink is just stirring the pot, and trying to get people riled up. Well, it worked, and I along with other fans on this site are trying to stop you(and other haters of the show and franchise) from putting your foot in your mouth, and saying this that could get you in trouble in the future.

As for the whole Scooby and Scrappy thing, and calling episodes dumb: yes those shows basically saved Scooby from early cancellation, but here's the thing: have you watched some of them?

For instance, the Scooby Doo version of Pinocchio short, or the Alice in Wonderland short, or Scooby and the Bandit. There were at least a half dozen shorts in that era(that I have watched mind you) that had no supernatural elements, weren't mysteries and had no buisness being made.

On the 13 Ghosts thing: if in your mind Daphne and Shaggy were "Doing it" as you say, then that's in your own mind. All I know and i've seen is that they were living together in the same house, and were not involved in any other way other then living together.

By the way, the Scooby and Scrappy shows you mentioned, or some of them were in the same era as the ones that had nothing to do with the supernatural or mysteries.

I would say more, but I would just get myself worked up even more, and I do not want to get into a flame war with you. I merely am trying to state my points, clearly, calmly and with some sense, unlike you.

So for now, I will simply say this: your points do not make any sense, and I would suggest you think about what you post before you post it. Thank you, and good night(it is night time when i'm posting this, so that is accurate).

    Likes(0)Dislikes(0)
  27. I'm amused you just ignored my whole post, because obviously i made too many valid points for you to rebuttle. I literally want to strangle you, you need to stop posting here. You are so all over the place trying to defend your opinions that you're rarely making sense. Most of the ways you responded to the others, you were missing their points.

You say you NEED to watch SDMI because you like the franchise, yet you talk about Get a Clue like you didnt watch it (Which i didnt either becuase it was bad). So clearly you are not as devoted as you want us to think. And based on your comments you clearly havent watched the original 2 seasons of Scooby doo recently enough to grasp what it was actually like. It was about 4 kids and a dog solving spooky ghost mysteries, simple as that. The characters, while i love them, were not all that developed. You had fred the leader who probably had a thing with daphne the damsel in distress, and of course you had goofy stoner Shaggy and Scooby and smart Velma who at times seemed to have a crush on Shaggy.

When they said the producers originally wanted it like MI, they meant they originally wanted it scarier. Which is true. And in a different time, SDWAY probably would've ended up pretty similar to MI.
And when they said that they were catholic too, they were referring to how the quote "satanic imagery" didn't bother them, because it DOESNT EXIST. Scooby Doo is not here to preach about Jesus. He's here to solve goofy and creepy mysteries.

Please stop calling it Misery Stinks, we get you dont like the show. You dont understand how immature it makes you sound to say that.

And you keep rambling about "Adult content" and "mature situations", yes the show is a little more mature than in the past, but any of that is pretty much going over young heads. And none of it is raunchy enough to provoke the reaction you're having. Daphne's wearing a bathing suit, watch out! You can go to the beach and see girls in bathing suits too! And there's nothing wrong with subtle sexual hints, dont argue that they're blatantly obvious, because they're not. It's innuendo, and we notice it more since we're older.

And where is the whole "Shaggy's a christian thing" coming from? Literally NO WHERE has there been ANY sort of mention about the faith of ANY mystery inc members in the entire franchise. And saving yourself for marriage is BS, and i literally hope Fred and Daphne are banging in the mystery machine.

You are welcome to your opinion, and if you truly truly feel the need to continue to watch a show that you supposedly HATE and feel the need to come onto a FANSITE and spew all this hatred, then do it differently. You seem like a troll. There are ways to complain without being a whiney obnoxious illogically frustrated POS.

I am done reading your BS and responding to your comments. I'm not in charge of this site, but i probably speak for everyone when i tell you that you're not welcome here. I hope everyone joins me in just ignoring anything Believe_It posts because it's not something we want to read. I apologize for attacking you, since you're clearly not mature enough to be able to admit when you might be wrong. Goodbye Believe it. I hope you stop watching the show.

  28. @Mysteryincfan1 hahaha just read your post, we must've been typing at the same time! Go Team MI!

But i do have a question actually on a legitimate topic:

What day of the week do episodes air on Teletoon? I just randomly check Youtube every few days and hope for something new.

    Likes(0)Dislikes(0)
  29. @mike, thanks man; yeah I guess so.

I think they air on saturdays on teletoon; although I don't live in Canada so I couldn't tell you.

  30. But as i said you dont simply point out flaws, you immaturely and ignorantly BITCH and GRIPE about stupid stupid shit that makes you sound like the dumbest of Mul-fking iggnorant POS that i've ever interacted with. Stop defending yourself excessively. I can't even begin to nit pick at what yousay because you're just fucking WRONG in so many cases.

Believe it says "Mike says: “I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again BelieveIt, I think you’re a troll.”

No you don’t. If you did then why are you replying to me?"
I DO THink you're a troll. Trolls say dumb things to get reactions and get people to reply.

Scooby Doo was never really "canon" each installment was kind of stand alone. Especially 13G. You're glorifying your childhood scooby doo becuase you were a child! and YES MI has overarching mystery, how can you even fking deny that? They dont bring it up in every episdoe, if you've watched any other TV show youd know that happens a lot (Take Buffy for example). 13 Ghosts had more of a plot direction than an actual over arching mystery.

I'm only acknowledging this response because it's directed at me. If you really want to start a discussion, start a discussion. Don't go "WahhWhahhWahh Misery Stinks is so dumb. They try to appeal to a wide audience. they changed the animation. they have an actual over arching story line. shaggy's not with daphne like he is in my pervy fanfiction. You're all wrong. I'm SO right.WAHHWAHHWAHH"

that's how you come off as. so get the fuck over yourself. I honestly don't even care if i get banned or something for this post, which is really sad because i love this website, but i dont get how you can just deflect EVERYTHING we say without any personal reflection. Great, I've stooped to your level of foolishness. We're not interested in your opinion. Believe it!

  32. Hello again Believe It...good bye again.

LOL...I'm gone for two days and this. Believe It, you don't keep getting banned because of your opinion, it's your attitude people have problems with. Fact is, as much as some of us love SDMI, it isn't perfect. No show or movie ever is.

    Likes(0)Dislikes(0)
  33. Seriously, Believe It? You don't get it, do you? You're right, I try to keep swearing out of here{or at least censored} and I should give him a warning, but what you're doing is a whole lot worse. And you're the one that refered to me as a certain four letter word the first time I banned you, so don't be pointing fingers.

    Likes(0)Dislikes(0)
  34. Exactly, all numbnuts is doing is making us love this show more then every.

@believe it, you take our words out of context and warp them to fit your stupid ideas and ideals.
Everything they do to add more real life elements is makiing this a serious take on the characters.

Go watch the comic-con panel and you will see what Mysteryincfan1 said about this being what WAY was supposed to be like, and you yourself said that the studio or network (I don't remember which you actually said and I don't want to reread your stupidity so I've included both)stepped into make WAY the way they felt it would be better.

  35. I swear Believe it has the most warped logic I've ever seen from an internet troll. The Ouija board he hates and yet the 13 ghost of scooby doo he loves which by his own standards he shouldn't because they were demons and anyone with a Bible knows that demons are Satanic in nature for the specific reason that their allied with Satan. I'm not a fan of Satanic things either but instead of complaining about it I just skip the scene and move on.

I'd say goodbye to that jerk, but by nightfall I'm sure he'll be plotting his return.

  36. @Spider-Scooby I apologize for my language. I just got so heated.

I just dont get why you'd want to return to a message board that you've been banned from just to do the same thing again. Anyway i'm thrilled he's gone and we can talk about Scooby!

  37. "I just dont get why you’d want to return to a message board that you’ve been banned from just to do the same thing again."

From all of Believe it postings here are my top theories; he's clinically insane, or a 13 year old who thinks it's funny to drive people up a wall, or he's an 80's kid who's so obsessed with the Scrappy era that anything that comes after it is inferior and thus has made it his mission to destroy all. Either way he's a wacko with Swiss cheese logic.

  38. "I literally want to strangle you"

LOOOOL, that's what happens when you talk to Believe It!

But, he's right at ONE point, just ONE: fart jokes. They're pathetic.

People who laugh on fart jokes, reminds me about those fat old men, drunk in their home's couch, drinking beer and watching some stupid Jim Carrey movie. That's the kind of person who laugh on fart jokes.

  39. That's just the thing, he won't! Banishment and an angry mob mean nothing to him.

@Everybody except believe it, I implore you to stick with it. Don't abandon this site because of one troll.

    Likes(0)Dislikes(0)
  40. @ScoobyDoom, don't worry, I won't abandon this site at all. I'm a member of another Scooby group where a person stopped writing fan fiction because another person thought what the writer was writing was stupid and didn't have anything to do with Scooby Doo or something like that.

That won't have any effect on me at all; i'm not going to leave a site that I like, concerning a character and series I like because one stupid troll.

If real life was like this site(i'm not bad mouthing anybody, i'm just giving examples) or if Scooby was like what believe it wants for example, Scooby would have been canceled in the late 70s and we might not be talking about this now because the show would have gotten so dull and repetitive that the network would have pulled the plug and put some other show in its place.

Same with real life, if inventors or companies were like believe it, wanting the same things over and over again, we wouldn't have any of the things we have now. Heck we might not even have the internet if the inventors of it had been like believe it.

Bottom line is he can say whatever he want, but its not going to bug me, and I am going to stay put and keep commenting here. Granted some of it might be critiques, but that's just the way I do things, and if he doesn't like it, well too bad for him.

Sorry if i've gotten a little cross in this post, but I just keep having to put my point of view out there becuase of his stupidity. Hopefully now we can get back to the real reason this site exists: to talk about Scooby Doo 🙂

  41. Believe it couldn't bug me enough to make me leave. This is a great site and I would never leave because of some foolish troll.

  42. @mysteryincfan1, I completely agree. As I told you in the chatroom, I do reviews(plug plug ;)) for this site if someone wants to comment disagreeing with what I say that is fine by me, just don't comment and say your right and your ideas matter more than anybody else. Your very right.

@mysteryincfan1 and strangely, glad to hear it. I don't want to speak for him but, I know spiderscooby completely agrees with me.

And like I've said before let's all calm down and talk scooby. And Ignore this SOB.

    Likes(0)Dislikes(0)
  43. Well with that out of the way I'll get the ball rolling on Scooby related talk. I think Fred's mom is going to make an appearance soon, the reference to her in episode 23 is very obvious foreshadowing, and I think she has a resemblance to Judy. I can't wait to see where this mystery goes.

    Likes(0)Dislikes(0)
  44. Of course it is foreshadowing or else their just screwing with us. I'm just glad that they have started talking about her, it was starting to make me wonder, which I guess is what they want.

    Likes(0)Dislikes(0)
  45. I think the writers have done a good job with the progression of the show. A lot of the previous Scooby incarnations gave us wildly obvious clues that made it possible to solve the mystery a quarter of the way through, but this one has paced itself so that we won't know until the gang knows. And I have to say it's nice to solve a mystery at the same pace the characters do.

    Likes(0)Dislikes(0)
  46. I love trying to solve the mystery before the gang, that is why chapter 2 rubbed me so wrong.

I also love the wild reasons that the baddies do what they do, especially when there is an easier route available.

I have a question for you, has velma lost her glasses yet?

    Likes(0)Dislikes(0)
  47. Now that you mention it no I don't think Velma has lost her glasses at this point. That and the chase montages are the only thing I really wish this show would have carried over from the original, but I can live without those things.

I also love that wild reasoning the villains give, ironically in reality most criminals do things for reasons even more stupid.

    Likes(0)Dislikes(0)
  48. I miss the chases but they do well enough with those in the DTV's so I don't mind. How cool would it be if she lost her glasses and shaggy was still carrying the extras though?

Exactly, reasons being: boredom, the rush, and revenge.

  49. So far, Cartoon Network has only aired up to episode 17, but I do think we've seen a lot in the last couple episodes to start forming some theories(I would rather wait until episodes air in the US to comment on them).

From what was shown on this week's episode, I definitely think Fred's dad is up to no good somehow. Whatever that puzzle piece was that the gang found in the Darrow Mansion, it's definitely going to prove very big towards the overall mystery in the next couple of episodes.

So far(in the US aired episodes) Fred's mom hasn't appeared but I definitely think the fact that she isn't around is going to come up sooner rather then later.

There's really so many plot lines to go over, and not many answers to go with a bunch of questions, so we'll have to wait and see what happens in future episodes.

Although I can definitely agree on all or most of the theories given so far. And I also think more parelells to the original Mystery Inc. are going to come up.

Especially after Daphne read the diary in episode 17. There's way too much similarity between what the Daphne and Fred of the original group had to go through, and ditto with the Velma, Shaggy and Scooby of the original group to be merely coincidence.

But basically this is going to be a very rocky and very exciting rest of the season. By the way, since season 1 is almost finished in Canada, any one want to get the ball rolling on discussion for season 2?

I for one hope we get a new 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo type of storyline, but with Velma and Fred and maybe Madelyn Dinkley replacing Flim Flam and Scrappy, I could definitely see that.

    Likes(0)Dislikes(0)
  50. ah i didnt even realize it until now! Velma hasnt lost her glasses yet! She should i always loved that gag haha

    Likes(0)Dislikes(0)
  51. and yeah Fred's mom will definitely be important later on, they wouldn't have included it unless it was foreshadowing. She obviously left for some reason related to the mystery arc. I'm kind of suspicious that they are Brad and Judy, but i hope they're not. 1 it would mean Fred's name is a lie which would be weird and that the mayor would've had to change his name. in a political situation, that's unlikely. i still like the theory that the sheriff is Brad but i'd be ok if they were their own individual characters.

Do you think we'll ever see Alice May again?

    Likes(0)Dislikes(0)
  52. Well I don't know if that makes his name a lie, people do change their names legally, and even if his father did illegally change his name Fred's name is still legally Fred.

  53. Oh sorry, I forgot to throw up the (*spoiler warning*).

Okay I have another question, and sorry if the phrasing is a bit hostile, it's not meant to be but, why does anybody think alice may will be back?

    Likes(0)Dislikes(0)
  54. I guess there's a chance she could come back, we know that Mr. E got her out of jail so she's out there somewhere. Personally though I don't see why they'd bring her back, she served her purpose and so really there's not much else for her to do.

    Likes(0)Dislikes(0)
  55. Also I just had a theory about freds mom, it's nothing huge but still, what if their useing her to try to gain sympathy for fred, or his dad, now for something he, or they, may do in the future?

    Likes(0)Dislikes(0)
  56. I just thought since she worked for Mr. E, we might see her in the finale or something.

    Likes(0)Dislikes(0)
  57. Well I've seen others at places like the SA board ask about her, and if people keep talking about her they could bring her back in season 2.

  58. Also, congratulations mostly to SpiderScooby but to all of us, I believe that we have set a new record number of comments.

    Likes(0)Dislikes(0)
  59. unfortunately so many of those comments were spent arguing with a whiney immature trolling POS.

I just thought it could be interesting to see Alice again, since the villains of the week are usually one-off. I would love some more "flashbacks" to SD:WAY like in the Alice May episode

  60. Yeah I know, but still...woohoo.

Yeah cause it would sorta be like seeing the original show in HD.

  62. What I want to see is more of the villains in the museum, in the new style.

    Likes(0)Dislikes(0)
  63. Yeah exactly! Maybe when they release the full season on DVD they'll have a bonus feature tour of the museum? Just a pipe dream lol

    Likes(0)Dislikes(0)
  64. @Mike It's cool.

OK, what if Fred and Shaggy were brothers? That'd be interesting.

Speaking of which, we haven't seen Shaggy's parents much, have we{not since episode 2 I think}?

    Likes(0)Dislikes(0)
  65. Don't listen to CN, it's season 1!

If fred and shag were brother that would be funny to see how they react, but honestly I hope not.

    Likes(0)Dislikes(0)
  66. Actually we have seen Shaggy's dad in "The Shrieking Madness", SpiderScooby.

And this is season 1, not 2... Cartoon Netowrk just used that as gimmick to make people think that these new episodes were already season 2.

    Likes(0)Dislikes(0)
  67. But if that's the ep you meant, sorry I don't know all of the titles.lol
