  1. This is obviously an April Fools joke. I'm doubting the least popular incarnation of Scooby Doo would be the first to make it to blue-ray.

  2. Yeah, April Fools for real.

WB won't release these because they don't want the Scooby-N00bies to find out what a Scooby-Doo series is supposed to look like. Believe it!

  3. ^I think the Scrappy-haters are a really loud minority actually. If they were to show the Scrappy era episodes again I'm willing to bet that most kids would love Scrappy (as they did back when he first appeared) and many of the people who think Scrappy was bad just because they heard someone else say he was would realize that he was actually a really good character. Believe it!

  4. I won't go as far as saying Scrappy is a good character{I'm not a Scrappy hater but I always found him annoying}, but to be honest, without Scrappy, Scooby may not have survived. So I'll give credit there.

  5. According to everyone who worked on it, the show definitely wouldn't have survived without Scrappy.
Everyone on the show was annoying at some point. That's all part of the story. Besides, Scrappy served to move the story forward in the fact that he could nudge Shaggy and Scooby into solving the mystery. He also provided for some funny scenes.
I'd say he was the best thing to happen to the show since Scooby Snax, and was topped only by the addition of the development of the Shaggy+Daphne relationship! Believe it!

  6. I used to watch this show all the time! There are so many episodes that I haven't seen in years! Although I will never be a Scrappy fan (he always annoyed me because I liked Scooby better), I did like the show.
That being said, I'm a little worried about the prospect of Scrappy in the SDMI universe. What?!
I guess we'll just have to trust the writers on this one...
