With Warner Bros. working on a new theatrical Scooby movie, would you like to see it lead into a new series?

  1. They could've done that with the live TV movies, but perhaps that wouldn't have looked that good TV series.

But to answer the question, yeah I suppose. Scooby is made for TV to begin with so why not do it that way? Isn't that what the franchise is known for? Doing as many possible different things to keep itself new and fresh? Because What's New, Scooby-Doo? certainly couldn't have continued. :p

  2. That would be pretty ideal. WNSD pretty much was the follow up to the live action movies of the time (An indirect follow up, but clothing, personality and overall feeling tried to emulate it, which was a smart idea for WB to try to tie it together).

This time around a more direct follow up would be good. I'm actually hoping they either go with the traditional animation or something completely new like CG animation. And I'm hoping they go with a traditional "rubber mask" mystery as I'm tired of these "real monsters trying to take over the world" gimmick they've been using. Perhaps an origins story would be compelling (Mystery Begins was good for a modern update, but I'm still convinced they can do better).
