  1. I was surprised, I really liked it.

I was expecting it to be way more "kiddie".

The cast did amazing, but I miss Mindy Cohn.
If they wanted to replace her they should have used Linda.

I liked that it was 2 parts of one mystery, well thought out ta boot.

    I definitely wanna see more.
    GREAT!

  3. I don't liked it.The time they lose with it,can be used with more 2D animation movies, after the rare hit of ''Stage Fright'' they make that!
Scooby-Doo should be more mature and focussed, not childish EVEN MORE. In my exclusive group for fans, opinions were generally negative as mine and the old fans did not like anything of that'' innovation''.

  4. I have no problem with this movie having been made. It's production wouldn't have effected the other DTV stuff as this was a completely different medium and would have been made independently of other Scooby movie in the works, in fact this might have even been cheaper and quicker to create than a traditional animated movie.

And really this might have been WB attempt to see whether or not the PNSD version of Scooby was still popular. I wouldn't mind seeing a revival of that show.

  5. Although I anticipated for this movie, I gotta say, I wasn't very satisfied. It was pretty good, and the puppeteers did a pefect job, but I think that watching it first in Spanish spoiled it for me. After seeing it in English, I wouldn't mind if they made another puppet movie, that would be cool. But WB guys, will you please make a short documentary on the making of the film and put it in the special features? Bonus episodes are good, especially if they are never-before released, but we haven't seen documentaries like that since "Scooby-Doo! Curse of the Lake Monster".

  8. Incredibly cute, but on the boring side. Which was expected. I enjoyed it though, I liked the puppetry and it was really creative. I still find it funny that Frank Welker says "traisure' instead of 'treasure'! Hahaha

Don't know. I'll have to watch the movie again. Anything to improve Scoobypedia!

  10. Warner Brothers announced that they're working on a Animated Theatrical Scooby movie.

    More details as they come.

  11. Interesting. The announcement didn't specify whether it would be traditional animation or CGI. Regardless of which they go with I'll be happy to see a Scooby movie in theaters. Oddly, I'm a bit intrigued with the possibility of a CGI movie.

I'm hoping this movie is actually fully in production now. It would suck if they were still at the script stage at the point of this announcement as that would mean we'll be waiting a long while for anything. I generally prefer animated movies to be announced about halfway through their production so I don't have to wait the years it generally takes to make it. Hopefully the first thing they tell us is a release date. I'm hoping for a late 2014 or early 2015 time frame.

  12. It looks like it's still in the script stage.

    I hope for traditional animation.

    My biggest concern is casting.
I hope they don't try some stupid stunt casting to get folks that would never see a Scooby movie ta come.

  13. I wouldn't worry that much about casting. They'll get the regulars for the gang and as usual they'll find a few mildly famous people to fill in the supporting cast.

I'm hoping we get a traditional mystery for this movie. I'm sick and tired of real monster plots, it feels lazy to keep going back to that. SDMI has been one of the few real monster mysteries I've enjoyed, otherwise they usually disappoint me.
