A brand new LEGO movie featuring Scooby and the gang is arriving on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD this May! LEGO Scooby-Doo! Haunted Hollywood will be released on May 3rd and will come with an exclusive Scooby-Doo minifig. No word on the previous LEGO special, Knight Time Terror, but it’s possible it will be included as a bonus episode.

In LEGO® Scooby-Doo!: Haunted Hollywood, the gang heads to the entertainment capital of the world, Hollywood, where they take a tour of the legendary Brickton Studios, a historic Hollywood movie studio. While visiting the lot, the gang is surprised to find the once powerful film studio has fallen onto hard times. Neglected and in disrepair, Brickton, which has lost its luster, now faces threats of closure and an impending sale to greedy developers who want to tear it down.

  1. That is the same exact Scooby Minifigure as in half the sets. How is that "exclusive"? They should have just given us Scrappy, whether he's in this movie or not.

    1. Same minifigure, but it's likely that it's a new print on his face. So that's probably why it's deemed exclusive.

  3. Finally watched it today, it was actually pretty good. The humor was pretty good and the story was decent. There were a lot of Hollywood references, Cassandra Peterson plays a parody of her Elvira character which is really pretty awesome.

I noticed a Scooby Doo Movies reference too. In one scene Daphne puts on a costume that's very similar to what she wore when she was Sandy Duncan's stunt double.

Interestingly in the movie they kept saying they were from Crystal Cove, it's so weird that's canon now, that'll take some time to get used to. I'll miss Coolsville, but admittedly Crystal Cove sounds more like an actual place name, so I can't completely fault a change.
