Details On The Scooby Doo Comic Con Panel
With Comic Con winding down, we have details from the Scooby Doo panel earlier today, thanks to J_3_h on Twitter. Some interesting tidbits:
-Season 2 will be 26 episodes. Episode 52 will tie directly into the pilot.
-Dynomutt, Blue Falcon, and the Johhny Quest team will all have appearances in season 2.
-{Spoiler for season finale}The original voice actor for Johhny Quest will be voicing Brad Chiles, Fred’s real father.
-No plans for season one on Blu-ray.
-If season 2 does well enough in the ratings, there is a plan for season 3. No guarantees though.
-No airdate for season 2 yet, but assume it’s “soon”.
Nice to see Blue Falcon and Dynomutt showing up. So what do you guys think?

I love that there integrating other hanna-barbera characters, and that it will continue.
I'm also glad their using H-B actors.
Sucks the currently have no plans for a blu season set.
As I suspected, they didn't, or couldn't, give many details.
I so want a DVD release !! I don't mind about Blu ray but it would be nice. I JUST REALLY WANT A DATE FOR SEASON 2!! Good to have some news though, Thanks!
I am sooooooo glad there will be a season 2. Hopefully we hear about an airdate soon for season 2. This is one Scooby-Doo series I can't get enough of. It's funny and mysterious at the same time.

and what do u mean by "Episode 52 will tie directly into the pilot"? cuzz im confused. is it like how the very 1st part of the 1st episode of the series?
I love scooby doo and the gang, but isn't mystery incorprated a little dumb, think, what show started the scooby fan pops, hanna barbas great old scooby idea, who has boomerang? Try messing with those old shows! Wow, hanna was good!

Who thinks Scrappy doo stinks? i doo because he is lame and messes up the whole scooby doo theme and show! Why put that little small pest on the show? They already have a loveble great dane who likes pizza!
