Casey Kasem Has Passed Away

Some sad news today as Casey Kasem passed away this morning at the age of 82. His daughter made the announcement on Facebook.
“Early this Father’s Day morning, our dad Casey Kasem passed away surrounded by family and friends. Even though we know he is in a better place and no longer suffering, we are heartbroken,” she wrote in a Facebook post. “Thank you for all your love, support and prayers. The world will miss Casey Kasem, an incredible talent and humanitarian; we will miss our Dad.”
Very sad, but at least he can finally rest in peace. RIP Casey. May you and Scooby have plenty of Scooby Snacks in heavon.

The actor is dead, but the character is not.
Shaggy will live on, but he will never be the same without Mr. Kasem.

That's sad, but not unexpected with everything that had happened recently.
On a less sad note it was announced another live-action Scooby Doo theatrical film is in the works, a reboot seemingly. It's hard to say whether this means the animated one was cancelled or is merely a separate film. Time will tell.

^No, I didn't know. I didn't realize the article was stickied to the top, so I didn't realize new news was going to be below an old article (And I've read all the previous news before June 15th, so I didn't look below this). I just assumed everything was chronological.
