Here’s a better look at the Scooby-Doo! Frankencreepy box art. The release date has been confirmed as August 19, but you currently cannot pre-order from Amazon, due to a dispute between Amazon and Warner Bros.

Why did Amazon and WB dispute?
I think the question is: Is there an actually dispute or things just haven't been smoothed out yet?
Maybe that's why the novel has similar issues with it's description of the film having been removed?

Judging how Amazon has been going with preorders that had already been placed before they stopped having the items by warner home video available. Anybody who has already preordered should still receive their copy.
TVShowsOnDVD has a post about this, so it's affecting both films and TV. Well sure, but it's nice to be informed. 😀
It doesn't seem to affect digital releases though. So you could still get Frankencreepy on Amazon whenever the digital release date is.
I placed a pre-order for both the movie & the Scholastic book tie-in on Amazon on the 21st of June, so their dispute must have been resolved.
