For those waiting on new episodes of “Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!“, you won’t have to wait much longer. Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! will return with an all-new Christmas special on Monday, November 30 at 12:30p/11:30a Central.  Here’s a plot summary from Scooby Snax.com.

The gang spends Christmas in the original Christmas City – Bethlehem- where the Moravian Star plays a key part in the mystery that surrounds the town.

I know I’ve only posted a review of the pilot, so here’s my thoughts on the series so far. I honestly wasn’t expecting this show to be this good. I still don’t like the animation. But once you get past that, it really is a well written and funny show. This is the exact opposite of Mystery Incorporated – and I say that in a good way. The humor is the highlight here. The slight changes they’ve made to the gang are good. I like how Fred isn’t a clueless dork obsessed with traps, even though they put some of that into Daphne. I could do without Daphne’s “Daphneisms” each episode{but really, it isn’t that bad}. Kate Micucci does an okay job as Velma. Overall, it’s a great series. Unfortunately, Cartoon Network has been yanking the show around its schedule like they did with SDMI, so that’s disappointing.

  1. Yay! But one thing, Where There's a Will There's a Wraith aired on the 28th and came out digitally on the 29th. If You Can't Scooby-Doo the Time Don't Scooby-Doo the Crime didn't air but came out digitally on the 30th.

    1. One more thing. Sobek is spelled with a k. Also, I'm pretty sure he's not a pharaoh. And it's not a murder mystery party in Party Like It's 1899, it's a monster mystery party. What do you give Be Cool out of five so far?

      1. It looks like SpiderScooby got the villain names from my site's episode guide, and yeah I messed up on the spelling for that. It should be "Sobek."

As for the pharaoh thing, I'll re-watch the episode again but I'm almost positive that he was a pharaoh.

  2. Yes, I need to give credit to Doo since I had to borrow a few of the villain names since I'm behind on a few of the episodes.

As for Party Like It's 1899, I used the offical descriptions from iTunes/Amazon, and they list it as a muder mystery. I wonder why they listed it like that. Weird.
