Scooby-Doo! Mystery Inc – Season 1, Part 2 Coming To DVD In January

Here’s some strange news. TvShowsOnDVD is reporting that Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated – Season 1, Part 2 will be released on January 24th. The 2 disc set will contain episodes 13 through 26 of Season 1. No reason was given for why they’re releasing them this way, or why they’re not doing a Season 1, Part 1. But while it’s nice they’re skipping the volumes for the rest of the episodes, it’s really kinda annoying, especially for those who have avoided the volume releases. Stay tuned for more on this release.
Half of me says “finally! WB’s gotten there stuff together!” But the other half says “…WHA???” Hopefully this means their releasing it before season 2 starts.
And maybe they’ll put out a part one on the same day…aww, whom I kiddin’?
Maybe now that they don’t have to focus on making three different packages for the remaining episodes they can get around to putting in some decent bonus content.
