Scooby-Doo! Team-Up #6 Review

The Mystery Inc gang is called upon by the Super Friends to help them solve the mystery of seven rainbow ghosts haunting the Hall of Justice. Batman tells them that Superman attacked the ghosts head on and hasn’t been seen since. The gang are made junior Super Friends, also getting their own costumes. One of the rainbow ghosts attacks, but is quickly defeated when Aquaman sprays water on it, revealing the ghost to be a hologram. But while our heroes are distracted, another ghost attacks and kidnaps Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman.

Moon Monster Madness Review

Plot: Mystery Inc. wins a trip to the moon on Sly Sta One, where a mysterious alien is Sabotaging the station.

I wasn’t looking forward to sitting down and watching Moon Monster Madness again for this review. Maybe it was my mood. Maybe it was that I watched it over a period of a few days. But this movie was just so forgettable. I mean, it takes a good fifteen to twenty minutes for the monster to appear, and it never really picks up from there. Even when the monster is finally caught and unmasked, it leads to an extended climax that just drags. It doesn’t help that none of the characters are that interesting. The only new character I like here is U-Boat, but that’s only because he has the best joke of the movie.

There will be minifigs of all the gang along with two versions of Scooby. Villains include the Black Knight, Dracula, a glow-in-the-dark ghost, Headless Horseman with removable pumpkin head, zombie, mummy, and a lighthouse keeper.

Below is a list of sets along with prices:

-Mummy Museum Mystery (75900) – £11.99
-Mystery Plane Adventures (75901) – £19.99
-The Mystery Machine (75902) – £29.99 – What’s disappointing about the van is that it won’t fit the whole gang.

2014 Year In Review

Time to take a look back at the year that was 2014, which I thought was pretty decent. We got two great movies(Wrestlemania Mystery and Frankencreepy), some fun crossovers in Scooby-Doo! Team-Up, and a announcement of a new series. Of course, the one major downside was the tragic passing of Casey Kasem.

Wrestlemania Mystery:

Wrestlemania Mystery Review 1 Review 2
Wrestlemania Mystery was a nice surprise. I was not expecting to like this one as much as I did considering I’m not a wrestling fan, but it turned out to be a really entertaining movie.
